More fittings hunting No 1...

11th May 2008
The good thing of staying at the city, I was able to do some fittings hunting today for the whole morning until early afternoon. Some of the items on my list for todays are the bathroom fittings, some lightings, fans and furniture from Tanjong bunut, Batu Satu, Kiulap and Sengkurong. The pictures below were taken from one of the shop I visited in Tanjong Bunut. This post is especially posted for my wife in Brisbane so that she could choose which of the items below that we could get for the new house.

The double jacuzzi bathtub with the dimension of 1.1m x 1.9m which is one of my personal favorite. The size will go perfectly in the Master bathroom. This cost a good $1999 before discount and a further 10% discount is applicable for the item. The bathtub could be ordered which took 2 months to arrive.

Testing out the space of the bathtub with ample empty space next to me..

Another double jacuzzi bathtub. Notice the difference from the 1st one and this cost $2199 before discount but the dimension is 1.2m x 1.7m, abit smaller than the one above.

An alternative to the double jacuzzi bathtub of a triangular shape with the lengths of 1.5m x 1.5m also cost at $2199 before discount ($1979 after discount). A deposit of $500 to $600 is required if we wanted to get any of the bathtub above. By putting this bathtub, we will have more space for a double wash basin and a small area towards the window in the Master bathroom.

The ideal shower in the kids bathroom cost at $328 before discount. Initially I was thinking of constructing a semi brick wall at the side panel of the shower and only use the tempered glass door and tempered glass top. The dimension is 0.9m x 0.9m x 0.45m (side panel) x 0.6m (swing door) x 0.45m (side panel).

Another picture of the shower with the open door.

An alternative of the kid's shower, with square dimension 1m x 1m. I like the double sliding door which is shown in the picture below.

Another type of the shower with fibre glass at the bottom cost $588.

A good alternative to the kid's shower with curve opening and a sliding door. Probably good for the guest shower too.

1 piece toilet seat by Oumer with each cost $218 and $299 at the left and right respectively.

I like the cream colour, Dobo brand 1 piece toilet seat and wash basin cost $160 and $70 respectively. May well could be used in the kid's bathroom or in the maid's bathroom.

Another sets of 1 peice toilet seat which each from left to right cost at $219, $209 and $225 resepectively. Guess which one do you think I like...
